Gregory Randall, President

Mr. Randall, president of Randall Planning & Design, Inc. was managing principal and project manager with Bay Area planning and design firms for almost 22 years. In 1993 he formed this firm Randall Planning and Design, Inc, with his wife and partner Bonnie Randall. The firm, since its inception, has been involved in numerous planned communities, residential mixed-use developments and commercial projects. The firm has extensive experience on a broad list of successful and award winning residential communities and planned facilities, as well as commercial and industrial campuses. Greg is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI and the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA). He has a B.S. Degree in Landscape Architecture from Michigan State University.

Author of the history of the planning, design and development of America’s only complete post war GI community, Park Forest, Illinois. Book also includes a history of the greenbelt communities and garden cities, built before the Second World War. This community defined planning in America for the rest of the century. Barry Brown, Associate

Barry Brown has over twenty years of experience in town planning and urban design. He advises clients on site capacity, contributes to the big design idea, prepares design guidelines, and manages individual projects. He has fifteen years of experience running a design studio and managing consultants and staff for large and complex projects. He has designed retail and commercial centers, often as part of a mixed-use village or as a part of a larger waterfront development. Barry is working on projects that involve the restoration of older shopping malls into mixed-use retail and entertainment centers that are in-step with the demands of the current users. Barry is currently involved with projects in Stockton and the Central Valley. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) and has a Bachelor of Art degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of California at Davis.

Richard Gallo, Associate

Rick Gallo is a Landscape Designer with 8 years of experience with a wide range of projects in Northern California. His experience includes office complexes, residential infill projects, master planned residential and mixed uses communities, park designs, private homes, and thematic community design development. Recent projects include John Muir Hospital in Brentwood, Siena Village Mixed Use Community in Brentwood, University Circle in East Palo Alto, and The Palms Condos in Santa Clara. Current projects include active adult communities in Brentwood and Los Banos, Master Plan Communities in Lodi and West Sacramento, and High Density infill projects in Union City and Sunnyvale. He is a graduate of California Polytechnic State University with a degree in Landscape Architecture with a concentration is Park, Recreation, and Open Space Design.

Brett Marsengill, Associate

Brett Marsengill is a registered Landscape Architect and Certified Planner with over eleven years experience across the United States and internationally. His experience includes aquatic design and engineering, campus planning, recreation, commercial/retail, mixed-use, residential, streetscape/downtown revitalization, Department of Transportation, and other private and public agency services. Recent projects include senior housing projects in Brentwood, high-density urban infill projects in Milpitas, Sunnyvale, Fremont, and San Jose, and subdivision master planning in Gilroy. Brett is also accomplished with coordinating tasks between owner and multi-disciplinary project teams, schematic design/design development/construction documents/ construction administration services, permitting phase services, company spokesperson, and has achieved a high level of client satisfaction. He received his BLA from the University of Georgia and MEP from Arizona State University.
